Tonight's debate was Obama's best, much better than his first two, which weren't bad.McCain tried again and again to tar Obama with side issues, like ACORN and Ayers, only to have Obama smoothly flick away the attacks.
McCain looked pretty desperate, and he looked old.
After the debate, NBC had a panel of six "undecided" voters from Virginia in a little panel discussion. Ann Curry asked them if they knew anyone who would not vote for Obama due to his race, and three of the six raised their hands.
Then she asked if any of them knew anyone who wouldn't vote for McCain because of Sarah Palin and ALL SIX raised their hands. We had to laugh at that one.
