The weather wonks, for example those at the Capital Weather Gang, are telling us we'll finally get some real rain tonight and especially tomorrow.Good. We're still dry. The entire Southeast is dry, some parts deep into severe drought. It seems like the last time we got a real, good old-fashioned soaking was in October.
It seems that of late we've had many piddling little storms that fizzled on their way through here, giving us no more than a quarter inch of precipitation--if we're lucky. We like sunny days, but we'll put up with a good soaker every once in a while.
